Actually, I sometimes teach yoga as a part of your movement training and rehab. While I won’t be using Sanskrit terms (unless you are familiar with them), yoga is a path many clients desire to get back into, but safely. I can prepare you for reentry into yoga classes, with appropriate personal modifications. Yoga poses can be modified or directed to address pain management, joint rebalancing for stability and flexibility, reduce muscular imbalances, promote appropriate posture – amongst other things.
I delight in opening clients’ eyes to the applications of yoga to the real world. So many poses are about reaching, bending-unbending, turning, pushing, pulling, and more – and we get to apply them with personal considerations and with new confidence in your abilities.While this isn’t a yoga class, please wear clothes which allow you to move freely (no A-line skirts or tight jeans, please).
